Without any hesitation, I quit my job and start my new life.
Back in early 2020, I had not written any review post for year 2019 or resolutions for the coming year. Partly because I was very busy running my own takeaway shop, but the major reason was that I was feeling down at that time, couldn’t charge up to work out any plan for myself.

Ever since I have got my wireless EarPods, time spent on listening to music has increased quite significantly. Without exception, this also applied to today’s family hike.
買了無線耳機後，聽歌的時間比之前多了好幾倍，今早和家人行山也當然不例外。
My family had another hike on Christmas Eve, or to be more exact, morning of Christmas Eve. This looked like kind of strange Christmas celebration, but we can’t help as this is the norm of the year. You can’t go abroad, no group gathering, and probably hiking is a more safe activity. However, my family still have to go in group of two, in order not to violate the social gathering ban and got arrested.

I normally went hiking in the Mount Parker country park, which is easily accessible and with sufficient distance as a workout. Hiking in the New Territories seems to be rare to me but I had one with my old classmates in Tsing Yi last month.
平日行山大部分時間都會到柏架山，主要是因爲交通方便又有足夠的路程。相對在新界的路線則較為少去，但在過去的十月尾便與老同學們到遠方的青衣島走了一轉。
Early in September, I had upgraded my old Windows based Intel NUC with a SSD. It ran swiftly for all my day-to-day works except one thing, Wireless network support is still missing. In case I would like to use the NUC as a multimedia player, this will impose some constraints especially on cabling and device placement.
早前為家中的 Intel NUC 更換了 SSD 後，日常運作已非常暢順，用起來亦很稱心。稍為美中不足是欠缺無綫網絡的支援，如要作其他用途，在擺位及網路配線上便較不方便。

It has been about two weeks since my boy’s school resumed lessons. Other than having to get up earlier to take him to school, I have the luxury to have more spare time in the morning.
As we did not have any outdoor activities for quite a while, my wife suggested to visit the Mount Parker Country Park today.
不經不覺間兒子回校上課已兩星期多，除了要早點起來陪他上學外，早上卻多了些空閒時間。
很久沒有往外走，今天太太建議到柏架山郊野公園行山。

Making a good hand drip or pour over coffee demands good understanding of coffee bean, grind level, coffee to water ratio and various pour over techniques, etc. Beginners or average coffee brewers like me will probably overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of information, jargons and techniques available over the Internet.
After a hard day’s housekeeping work, I finally sat down, picked up my guitar and played along those videos suggested by YouTube.
忙了一整天，終於可以坐下來，提起結他跟隨著 YouTube 推介的 video 一起彈奏。
我家兒子原先報考了今年四/五月舉行的 ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Practical Examination (英國皇家音樂學院八級鋼琴術科考試)，但因應年初疫情，考試被迫取消。為免浪費數個月的試前準備(其實是高昂的學費)，我亦跟隨學院的建議，申請了年尾的考試。
