A so call "Seasoned IT Professional" who has worked for over 26 years in the Information Technology / Financial industry. One day it came to mind that should I continue to work in a fast lane or take a break.
Without any hesitation, I quit my job and start my new life.
Got some free time this morning and is great for another short hiking trip in Mount Parker. Before starting the trip, I went to NumberOne bakery to buy my breakfast.
You may be surprised that I have not ridden any YouBike before despite that I have been to Taipei a number of times. The main reason is that I don't have Easycard nor local phone number. For security reason, I also don't want to use my credit card for one-time bike rental as well.
2018 will be leaving us within an hour, looking back at what all those targets that I had established for 2018, seems like some of those had been achieved while the rest are not yet started. In fact, there were other things that came all out of expected. Anyway, this is life and I have to accept them all.
Ever since I have quit my job in late 2017, I don't have any notebook computer with me. This sounds a little bit inconvenient and I have been thinking of getting my next mobile platform for quite a while.
Can't remember how long I have not watched a movie in the theatre. Yesterday, I went with my friends to Vieshow Cinemas Taipei Xinyi to watch Bohemian Rhapsody, a documentary on the rock band Queen and the lead singer Freddie Mercury.
Last week, I went hiking with my wife and one of my cycling buddies to the Big Wave Bay (大浪灣) along the Leaping Dragon Walk (龍躍徑) located in the eastern corner of the Hong Kong Island.
We started our journey from the Siu Sai Wan Promenade in Chaiwan, which is right next to the entrance of the Leaping Dragon Walk.
